Korea’s public transport is excellent, but it does not run all night everywhere. If you plan dinner, nightlife, concerts, night markets, or late arrivals, check the last subway, bus, and taxi backup before the evening starts.

Last Subway Trains

Do not assume the subway runs until the same time every night. Last train depends on weekday, weekend, line, station, and direction. A train may still run in one direction but not the other.

Night Buses

Seoul has night bus routes, but coverage is limited compared with daytime service. Night buses may not stop near your accommodation, and intervals can be long.
