Korea Go Now is an independent travel guide for foreign visitors exploring Korea — and right now, we go deep on Busan. We write practical, up-to-date guides that answer the real questions travelers have: how to get from the airport, where to stay, what to eat, how the subway works, and what is genuinely worth your time.
Why we start with Busan
Busan is Korea’s second-largest city and its best coastal escape — beaches, mountain temples, a giant seafood market, neon night views, and some of the country’s best street food, all in one place. It is easy to reach, easy to love, and often overlooked by guides that stop at Seoul. So we are covering Busan properly first, then expanding across Korea (Seoul, Gyeongju and beyond). The name is Korea Go Now because that is where we are headed.
How we write our guides
Every guide is built around what actually helps on the ground:
- Real, specific details — prices in won, opening hours, station names and line numbers, and how long things take. No vague “must-see” filler.
- Written for visitors, not locals — clear English, Korean names with hangul so you can search and ask for directions, and tips for travelers who don’t speak Korean.
- Kept current — each guide shows when it was last updated, and we revise prices and details as things change.
- Honest recommendations — we suggest places because they are genuinely worth it. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how the site is funded.
Who is behind Korea Go Now
Korea Go Now is a small, independent project run by travelers who spend time in Korea and care about getting the details right. We are a small team that travels Korea and writes from the ground. We are not a big media company; we are people who want your trip to Korea to go smoothly.
